Annual Earth Day Collection Event (WFWRD)
The Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District will be holding their annual Earth Day Collection Event in Taylorsville, UT. The event will be held at Taylorsville City Hall (2600 Taylorsville Blvd (5400S), Salt Lake City, UT 84129).
Hogle Zoo’s Party for the Planet
The Association of Zoos and Aquariums is throwing a party – over 100 parties throughout the country to be exact – to Party for the Planet. Join us at the Hogle Zoo as we celebrate the earth with animal enrichment, presentations, and informative booths. Learn about all the small things you can do that will make a big impact on helping our planet and to coexist with our native animals (with the help of Wild Aware Utah and other groups).
Park City Green Drinks
Green Drinks is an opportunity to meet & mingle with other eco-conscious people and to hear from local leaders about sustainability, environmental, and social advocacy issues.
Admission to Park City Green Drinks is always free, but you must be 21 or older to attend the event. Donations to Recycle Utah will be accepted at the door, which allows them to continue hosting these free community events.
About Park City Green Drinks: The events occur the second Tuesday of every other month (click here for the calendar). Green Drinks hosts must be a Recycle Utah Green Business. Ready to Hatch
Please join us for this fun event at the Tracy Aviary! Ready to Hatch showcases Tracy Aviary in full bloom, complimented by live music, a silent auction, sophisticated beverages and hand crafted hors d’oeuvres. Ready to Hatch welcomes over 350 guests, giving them an opportunity to explore our grounds during the twilight hours in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. Guests are greeted by an avian ambassador with a unique nose-to-beak experience as their memorable evening at Tracy Aviary takes flight.

Momentum Recycling is a prideful Green Sponsor of the Utah Pride Festival! The festival runs May 31st – June 4th. Come join the fun on the final day for the always entertaining Pride Parade in downtown Salt Lake City!

Yappy Hour at Liberty Park

Join us for our 4th annual “Yappy Hour” series of events this summer! Bring yourself and your pooch to the park for a fun evening after a long day at the office!
Admission is FREE!
We will have off-leash areas for your dogs to play and live music from Pixie and the Partygrass Boys! Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site, provided by Cupbop – Korean BBQ, Smokin Star BBQ, Forge Pizzeria, snow cones for pups and their humans by Kona Ice of South Orem/Provo, and beer from Proper Brewing Co. ID is required with purchase of alcohol. Outside food, alcohol, and coolers are prohibited.
Rescue Rovers Dog Adoptions will be on site with adorable and adoptable dogs! Spread the word and come on down to the event in search of your new best friend!

Taylorsville Dayzz runs June 22-24 at the Valley Regional Park (5100 S 2700 W, Taylorsville, UT 84118) with an entertaining parade on the morning of Saturday, June 24th. For more information, visit their website. – See you there!
Eat, Drink SLC
Eat Drink SLC invites food and libations lovers aged 21 and over to nibble and nosh, sip and swirl the evening away (from 6-9pm) while enjoying live music on the Aviary’s cool, green grounds. Festival-goers will sample seasonal fare from many of Salt Lake’s leading restaurants and purveyors; sip from a selection of 80 wines from an international assortment of family-owned wineries; taste craft cocktails from small-batch distilleries, including several which are locally owned & operated; and enjoy local beers from award-winning Utah craft brewers. With tickets priced at $85 (includes all food, drink, and a wine glass), this summer evening social is an approachable, affable and appetizing way to support the local nonprofits that enhance Salt Lake’s community.

As always, you won’t want to miss our free movie in the park on Friday, July 21. This year’s movie is Pixar/Disney’s smash animated hit Finding Dory.
