The service will continue to be offered to residents who wish to keep recycling their food waste conveniently at home.

About the Service:
How do I pay for services?
Answer: When you signup, you provide your credit card payment information that will then be charged the monthly service fee each month. Since we are unable to accept any other payment method (i.e. check. PayPal, etc.), only credit card payments are currently accepted. You can view the date of your next recurring payment by logging in to your account.
Is there a contract?
Answer: No – the service is month-to-month, so you can cancel any time by logging in to your account.
Can I use my own bucket?
Answer: No – to maintain consistency and to avoid confusion, you will need to use the 4-gallon bucket provided.
About the Process:
Where does the food waste go?
Answer: We transport all food waste to the Wasatch Resource Recovery facility in North Salt Lake to be processed.
What types of materials are NOT accepted in your food waste bin?
Answer: We understand that what can and can’t be composted can be confusing, so you can download our mobile app to use the Waste Wizard to search for specific items. In general, below is a list of common contaminants that are not accepted in food waste containers:
