New Dumpster Mural + Drop-Off Location

We are so excited to announce a brand new public glass drop-off location at Sugarhouse Park! This is the first time the City has hosted a drop-off location at the park, which adds a much needed location on the upper east side of the City.

After an extremely successful launch of the first dumpster mural at Liberty Park, Momentum Recycling and artist Josh Scheuerman partnered up once again to complete a second mural with a winter sports theme. The Liberty Park dumpster mural highlights the beautiful landscape of Southern Utah. Since its initial placement in last Fall, the dumpster has seen a significant increase in glass volume. It is with great enthusiasm that we present the second of hopefully many dumpster murals!

Thanks to talented artist Josh Scheuerman, the dumpster mural process is relatively quick. First, the dumpster must be sandblasted — which was actually completed using the glass recycled by Momentum Recycling! Once Josh starts painting, the dumpster really begins to transform into a work of art.
