Broken glass is perfectly fine for recycling. In fact, breaking glass into smaller pieces is the first step in our recycling process. Just place broken glass safely in your purple bin to avoid cuts during handling.
No need to remove labels—our facility handles that during processing. However, please remove metal or plastic lids and caps, as these can damage our equipment and aren’t processed with glass materials.
Rinsing isn’t required, but it helps prevent odors and pests in your bin. A quick rinse is appreciated, but don’t worry about getting containers spotless—our cleaning process removes any remaining residue during recycling.
